Try restarting router and computer.

Check all cables connected to router.

If that does not fix it , you will need to set up again your router. To set up the router, connect to the router with a cable, and call your Internet service Provider phone support number, they will guide you step by step in restoring your internet connection.

I don,t now how to get internet on my dsi

getting internet is easy if you already have a subscription. first thing is to check your modem or router. make sure the cable or ethernet cable from it is connected to the computer which is usually at the back that look like a phone connection. once its connected you will notice a change on the lights from the modem or router and your computer should automatically detects the connection if your network is available.

What is ip mapping? and how i can use two or more internet connection at a same time?

IP mapping is the practice of recording multiple devices within a network by their IP address to assist in troubleshooting.

You can connect multiple devices to one modem using a router. The router splits and directs the signal from the modem. If you are using auto-detection for internet connection, they should pick up their addresses automatically, however you will need to have someone set up the router to path properly.

Can i use Bluetooth USB Adapter to connect PC to wireless router?I purchased a new PC that's connected to a wireless router for internet. I want to connect my old PC to the same wireless router. I don't...

Hi, to connect your computer to the wireless network of the router you need to have a wireless adapter. The bluetooth adapter will not work in this case as the router does not communicate with the bluetooth signals.

Purchase a wireless adapter like NETGEAR WG111

Rate it, if it helps.

Belkin router when connected will send wireless signal but will not allow mother computer to gain access to internet. tried bridging on dsl, and pinging. when i called belkin the @#$%^& told me it...

Assuming your router is set correctly to your modem or the password and username are set correctly in a modem/router, make sure DHCP is enabled in the router, this gives each pc an ip address automatically.

Go to open internet explorer>tools>internet options>connections tab and ensure never dial a connection is ticked or greyed out. close IE

go to network connections, right click on your wireless adapter>properties>highlight TCP/IP line>properties and make sure that obtain an ip address automatically is ticked.

Open up internet explorer again and click refresh a few times, it will detect the proxy server then should connect, if not then the router configuration is wrong.

My laptop says that it is connected to my wireless router but the router isn't connected to the internet what should i do to connect it?

Hi,

If the router is turned ON then automatically your laptop wireless card will detect it and connect to the router.

To say in otherwords, now your notebook and Router are simple network.

You need to contact your router support to configure the router to get Internet. After automatically your notebook gets the Internet from the Router.

The above message is just by what I understood from your message.

If the issue is different, and if the router is already configured to Internet and if there are other systems connected to the router and able to access Internet, then replay back, so that I can explain accordingly

I bought a new computer and installed my wireless-g..it ate the disc up...can I down load it off the internet and make a copy to install on my computer... thanks gary

Give me your make, model# etc. I will send you a link to download the required soft ware, however you don't need the cd.

on the back or bottom of the router it will list the default IP address.
192.168.xx.xx. with just this you can access the router to set up everything. Netgear use Admin as user and Password as password
Belkin use admin as user with no password, D-link use admin admin.

disconnect from internet, plug ethernet cable from router to pc/notebook, open browser (Internet Explorer/ Firefox)
Type in to where the WWW.whatever.com goes the default numbers. (for mine it would be 192.168.15.1)
press the enter button and log in to the router and your in the setup utility, plug in the ethernet cable from modem to uplink side of router and have it detect.
