Question about PC Desktops

1 Answer

I have a Toshiba P200-13Z laptop and it has worked fine so far. This morning I have tried to turn it on and it will not respond at all. The blue power light at the front to indicate when it is on charge still lights up when connected to power but nothing else. Any ideas?

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Toshiba Notebook. It sounds like you just need to do a hard clear on the system.

To do this unplug the system from AC Power and remove the battery. After your do this hold the power buton down for 10-15 seconds. Doing this will clear all the power from the system and reset the internal circuits.

Next put the battery back in the system and plug in he AC Power if needed and the system should boot.

If you still have trouble let me know if anything shows on the screen. Also if you have any other questions feel free to ask.

This could be a hard drive crash, however, I just repaired a machine that had a similar issue. A loose connection an the board was prompting the machine to blue screen, and then shutdown all together. I had to tear the machine completely down to find it.

My toshiba laptop is not responding only orange light flashes

Hello try pushing the power buttom again as most laptops go into a sleep mode when lefton and no one has touch them for a few minutes . If that doesn't work, maybe it's defective and such be brough back to the supplier for replacement or refund ( don't forget the receipt )

TOSHIBA EQUIUM WIRELESS PROBLEM

You might deleted your driver to wireless connection or you perhaps upgraded Service Pack to higher version. If your wireless connection will work on lower SP then that device won't work or vice versa.
Another thing, try to check connections. Click menu and look for connections and try to enable wireless connections.

Thanks

Did it work before? What was changed since? If it did, does a mouse work? If so, goto system and uninstall the pad, reconnect the pad and reboot. Driver may have been corrupted.
