Question about Garmin Nuvi 610 GPS Receiver
I used the Garmin webupdater to update my nuvi 610 after I disconnected I turned on the device and realised I had lost my map detail the basemap is still there but none of the small roads are there anymore(I have no gmapsupp.img file). I have a copy of City navigator europe NT v9 which I have viewed with mapsource and it has all the detail I need but I cant work out a way to recreate my original gmapsupp.img file. Hope someone can help i'm desperate
Do a hard reset on the device. Download Garmin Express and install it to your PC. Connect your device to your PC. Garmin Express will identify it and allow you to install all the maps and software that the device has a subscription to.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I'm a little unclear as to what you're trying to accomplish.... you said the Routes are already on the SD card.... It sounds like you are trying to send them to your computer so you can view them there.... Is that correct? Are you able to access the Routes on the SD card using the iQue itself?
I personally use an iQue 3600, so I should be able to get you squared away with a little more info.

SOURCE: Garmin nuvi 250 mapsource
Verify that you have the correct basemap for the country that you are in. There are two maps inside a new Garmin. The basemap which shows all the major highways and mapsource which shows all the street. If you don't have the correct basemap try changing 'Navigation' Advoidance to avoid highways and Toll Roads.
