How to change a Dat file so I can open it on my Samsung tablet

DAT is a file extension that's mostly found on video CD. It is usually used to store MPEG-1 encoded video on VCD. This kind of video file is file format that are not playable in the default Android video player.
But don't worry, there are ways to make it playable. In this article, I'll show you how to play DATvideo file on your Android device.
To be able to play DAT video file in your Android device, you should need the help of a third-partyvideo player app. In this case, I suggest you to use MX player.
MX player is one of the most popular video players that can play almost every video format. It also play all resolutions that supported by your device.
If you don't have one, you can download it for free at Google play store.
Once installed, open the DAT video file with your file manager app and the video should be loaded and played by the MX player. However, you're unable to load DAT video file on 'My files' or 'Gallery' app, as well as 'MX player'. To be able to open DAT video file directly from your Gallery app or MX player, you should rename the file extension from .DAT to .MPG. For example, filename.dat change to filename.mpg. Once you're done, the video will appear on your MX player list and you can now play the video file on your Android device.

My fone is not switching onbut after few sec. it flashes on and off

hi,
lets try to fix your problem without spending a single cents..removed your micro sd ,(small memory card of your phone) then scan it in computer,,by doing this you need an all in one card that supported mini sd,mini sd ,memory stick etc..then you will find if your micro sd is having a virus..back up your files then reformat your micro sd ,then after formatting back your files...without your micro sd open your phone ,if it is ok now ,so the problem is your micro sd...if still there the problem ,reset your phone by doing this ,type *#7370# and enter your locked code..wait until the phone reboot itself.
if not works we go to the second solution but you need this gadget and tools in able to fix your problem...

1.mxkey dongle activated
2.ufs interface
3.3110c fbus cable

*open mx key
*select BB5
*put the fbus cable in 3110c

*put the mcu ,ppm ,cnt ..(the flash file must be higher than former version to prevent damage on phones software ,the old version shall appear when you scan or bus check the phone..)
*bus check the phone
*back up rpl first in mx key
*flash the phone and wait until it is done..

goodluck and thanks for trusting fixya..

Cannot open file - "Unexpected File Format"

Does the program allow for "auto back Up?" if so I would look in the folder of the original file and look for one closely named but probably with a different extension, if it exists rename it a different name than the original and with the proper extension. then try it. If not you have probably lost your work due to improper closing of the file when your computer crashed. You could try the manufactures web site and look for a corrupt file recovery tool of some sort. Sorry I could not help more.

You'll need the original .fla file. Or decompile it using something like this.

After creating a Flash movie you choose File > Save As from the top menu to save your movie. Save the file as "Somefilename.fla".
To embed the Flash movie you just made into an HTML page, you should go back to your Flash program and do the following steps:
Step 1
Choose File > Open. Open a Flash movie you have created.
Step 2
Choose File > Export Movie.
Step 3
Name the file "somefilename.swf". Choose the location where the file is to be stored (in your Web folder). Click OK.
Step 4
Open the HTML page where you want to insert your Flash movie. Insert this code:
<object width="550" height="400"> <param name="movie" value="somefilename.swf"> <embed src="somefilename.swf" width="550" height="400"> </embed> </object>
