I have done my project few years ago with a same flash mx but now when i open the fla file....the message appear

I think you are try to open the file in new flash version like flash 8..please use the same version as the original file were created..

i am using : windows XP ser.pack 3, Ram:2GB, hard disc cap: 320GB.

program using : ULEAD media studio Pro 8, i was editing a bunch off video projects since last 3 days, all working well, but today when i wanted to open my file 001.dvp (project file format) it came out with a message:
video editor has encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the inconvenience.If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.
Please help me to lead the way out. some of the program might be wrong here. i really like this Ulead program.

Cannot open file - "Unexpected File Format"


Does the program allow for "auto back Up?" if so I would look in the folder of the original file and look for one closely named but probably with a different extension, if it exists rename it a different name than the original and with the proper extension. then try it. If not you have probably lost your work due to improper closing of the file when your computer crashed. You could try the manufactures web site and look for a corrupt file recovery tool of some sort. Sorry I could not help more.

the closest you can come to hacking is converting a swf file to fla. :P

You'll need the original .fla file. Or decompile it using something like this.

First u tell which version of macromedia u are using macromedia mx or macromedia 8 ,
And what type of file do u have to open in flash is it .swf or .fla.
