Hi julie,

I'm not sure which tool bar you are referring to , however , go to> view>tool bars and see if that tool bar is selected(a check mark should be by the ones you want displayed.

Fix my toolbar

What's wrong with your toolbar? Which Toolbar? Your problem might be you have too many toolbars. Toolbars slow your browser down and clog up your screen.

If you are using Internet Explorer you get to the toolbars by clicking View on the menu bar, then click Toolbars. You can check and uncheck the ones you want to appear or not appear on your browser. If you menubar is not at the top of your Internet Explorer browser, look over to the right and see if you see Tools or the Tools icon and click it, then click toolbars.

If you are running Windows 7 press and hold the ALT key for the toolbar to appear at the top of the screen. If you want it to stay there Click View/Toolbars then select Menu bar.

Icon for speakers gone

Dear Jesuslovsu,
Please go to control panel --> Sound and Audio device properties and select the check box that says "Place volume icon in the taskbar"
If these controls are greyed out then you might want to install the sound card drivers ones again... The CD might have come along with your computer purchase kit.
If that doesn't resolve the issue then kindly let me know and I would be glad to assist you ahead.
Hope that helps.

Regards,
Srinivas

I, too, thought you were using 6.0 or would've jumped in sooner.

On the far right of the little-grey-bar-that-is-now-your-toolbar, there is an oval-shaped icon. Click on the left-end of that oval. Not kidding.

That oval is designed to 'minimize' your toolbar, but it is touchy so you have to hit the left end of it.

BTW, the toolbar is really just a window, so when you get it back, click the amber minus icon on the left end of it and you'll see that you can minimize it down to the dock too.

I OWN A GATEWAY COMPUTER SRL. NO. 0031624856 EVERY THINH WORKS PERFECT I JUST CAN'T GET THE VOLUM TO GO UP

Hi,
Do you have speakers attached or are we talking about the built-in speakers? Have you looked down in the right corner of your screen on your toolbar where you probably can see the time and look to see ifyou have an icon that looks like a little round, grey speaker? Double click on that icon and turn the volume up if you can?
Let me know if any of this works/makes sense.
Thanks,
Kaj
