am using an Epson LX-300+II dot matrix printer in Windows XP. I am trying to print checks that are tractor feed 8.0" x 3.66". I added the cusotm paper size in the print server and it is saved correctly, however, when I try to print, the print properties dialog does not show the paper size. In fact, there are many paper sizes in the print manager that do not show up in the list of available paper sizes.
Hi, I can't understand what "Custom size doesn''t present on your driver " means. the drver is just the piece of sofware used by windows to make your printer work. Custome size setting should have nothing to do with the driver.
have you created same paper size as per windows 98 custom paper size ..... if not create as same please create the same and select the printing area also in the server properties ...... in the printing preference change page size to your created page size in layout tab advance option and in paper/quality tab advance option ... and check it ....
I have some problem, but now have solved 1. replace your original epson lx-300+II driver by IBM ProPrinter II from windows installation driver. 2. in control panel-->printer and fax-->choose IBM Proprinter II ---> click File-->server properties--> click form tab--> chek create new and fill new paper size and don't forget give a name (ex. 8.5x6)--> save form 3.In printer and faxs right click IBM Proprinter II-->choose properties--> click device setting tab --> change tractor feed, manual paper feed and upper paper tray feed to new name (8.5x6) 4. Good luck
your solution works fine with me, but the problem is i can't able to save the settings on the printer. so everytime i need to print on that given custom sized paper type, i need to manualy select it from advance tab on printer properties before i have a good print-out..
I have a 3100 series HP. On it you select "Properties", then the "Features" tab. On that tab, there is a "Resizing Options" menu item. It has a drop down menu with "Letter", "More...", and "Custom" choices. There you can define the size.
In some printers there is a enlarge document printing support. Like Konica Minolta heavy duty printers or copiers. They support custom paper size in printer properties and also can support a large paper form a paper roll.
You are using inkjet printer so I feel there in no limit of paper size so you can print a custom size paper what you want.
Before printing just go to the properties of the printer and add a new custom size in paper menu then put that size paper into printer hope it’ll work. You must change the paper size from the application from where you are printing that paper.
see just go start setting and printer in printer right click go to server properties in that you will get option of creating form choose new form and give the sige of voucher so whenever you printing voucher select this paper size.
