My problem was the sound i ca not hear music, vidio anything

You just need to update your motherboards sound driver. Try to download it from your motherboards website, or get driver installer software that would search the internet automatically and downloads the driver that *********** board needs to be able to work properly. If you have your motherboard installation disk with you reinstall the drivers all of them and then try to listen if sound is audible once more.

Threre must be a problem with your device driver you can reinstall device driver from the cd provided by your motherboard company or note the name of driver and search internet and download and install it.There may be a chance that your device may get burned or busted solve it by buy new sound card.

My windowsmediaplayer has no sound says no sound divice

To use WMPlayer to listen to music, you need to have proper drivers for your sound card. You will find the audio drivers in the software CD that came with your PC or search the internet with the motherboard make and model for correct drivers.

Alternately, you can post as a new problem with your PC's make and model so I (or other experts) may help you.

What is a sound a card

the sound card is the motherboard component that processes audio/sound/music on the system. In portable systems it is almost always a component of the motherboard.
The sound card functions using audio drivers. Older systems may have sound cards with drivers that are already found as part of WIndows, but many require a discrete driver installed to function. If needed the driver can usually be found at the support web site of the manufacturer.

What is your motherboard type and model? If you purchased your computer a brand new unit,a CD installerforit device drivers shouldcome with it. If you have that Device driver installer CD,try installing from the CD device installer that came with your new PC.

Sound driver

Sorry pal. Machine is a DELL Inspiron 1721. No cable neither loudspeakers. I have no motherboard CD shipped with laptop. I already tried to install audio drivers from DELL Utilities & Drivers CD, but OS refuses to recognize that a soundcard is present.

Thanks anyway. It has to be solved by someone who's had the same problem and managed to work around it.

Sound card diabled

if you havent already, click start, run then type dxdiag and hit enter, and go to sound tab and see any reported errors, you may need to re install the driver. Also go into the bios f2 or del on boot up and check that the onboard sound is dissabled if you are using a pci sound card.
