Yes I think they do but these may also be unavailable. You could try sourcing 'after market' replacement elements, these are universal fit elements often from the original suppliers and cheaper too. Try searching the web for Russell Hobbs replacement kettle elements.

Red light's on... but no hot water!

HI,

OK, inside the unit there are three items, the heating element, thermostat, and thermal fuse. What has happened is the element got too hot and the thermal fuse opened. There is no reset button. In some cases you may run across a defective heating element or thermostat but its not common. The fix would probably be replacement of the thermostat and thermal fuse. For this, you would have to contact a small appliance repair center in your area.

Goodluck,

Can I get element replacement

According to their website and the parts available no. Write to their customer service and protest that you don't want to discard a perfectly good kettle because the element has gone. These days kettles are classed as a throw-away item.

Information to question already asked the fact the power is lighting both lights up but no noise of starting to boil does this kettle need a new element and if so where can a get it fixed.

You are not specifying what make it is but you hardly get replacement elements for kettles any more. The fact that you can see that power is available at the kettle it is indicating that it might be the element being defective. Had it been it switched on without any water in it? If it is the old type where the electrical cord gets plug in at the kettle check if it is well plugged in otherwise it is time for a new kettle.

Where can i purchase a replacement heating element for my Sunbeam classic electric kettle

Do a google search on the web for Sunbeam support. Get in touch with them to find out where they have a dealer that can sell parts for their products.

You will need the proper crimp tools and connectors to connect the new element.

Take note that some of these appliances were designed to not be serviceable. When you call Sunbeam, they will be able to tell you that, and if they can see replacement parts for your kettle.

Many times when I had a bad heating element in a kettle, I found the therm fuse also had to be changed.

Why does the water boiled in this kettle smell and taste chemically? Any boiled in a plastic kettle in my home is fine.

hello,

the chemical taste of smell from your kettle means that the element in the kettle which provide heat to boiled the water has gone bad due to over heating

this occur when there is shortage of water level in the kettle when the power supply is on

to fix up this problem of smell and chemical taste in your boiled water you will have to make a change of the element (heater)because it has gone bad you can get a replacement of it in the store .

thank you and thanks for using fixya.
