Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1: Windows
First ensure the webcam is Vista compatible.
Also ensure you have right driver software for yor webcam.
Install software for the webcam before connecting the cam to usb.
If you still get in trouble , do the following (Vista only):
Locate camera driver software on disk, or on downloaded files.
Click right mouse button on installer file.
A menu will drop down, chose "run as administrator".
Say yes whenever asked for authorizations to system changes.
