Question about Tissot T-Touch T33159851 Wrist Watch
I am a pilot and have checked the hourly met report, and find that the meteo reading on the ground is out by 20 + millibars. Perhaps the static vent is blocked ?! How can the meteo be calibrated. The watch was a gift and I am extremely particular about it. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Certain functions need to be calibrated. The altimeter and the Meteo are tied together. When a customer gets the watch, they should calibrate to either the Meteo or Altimeter. The easiest way to find out the altitude of the nearest airport (you can usually get this on line) and then go to the airport and adjust the
watch. This will also calibrate the Meteo.
To calibrate the Altimeter:
1. Activate Crystal
2. Press Altimeter
3. Press and hold top + button until the watch beeps and display flashes.
4. Use + and – buttons to adjust altitude
5. Press center of dial to lock in.
