First off--make sure all the cables are in right and tight.
is all good then the screen is burnt out. LDC black light is bad. std monitor not worth fixing, replace. Flat screen same replce..OR your video card is bad. the way to check the monitor is to have someone else plug it into their set and see if it works or take it to a computer store and have them check it for you..
