Try it on an other computer... if that fails, it might have developed bad sectors (spots) reformat and do a scan, which writes and reads all memory locations... might be corrupted and/or broken, but try another computer first to make sure it is not a driver issue.
If you right-click on the removable device and go to properties, when in there uncheck the read-only box and click OK. If that doesn't sort it check the actual card itself and see if there is a switch or slider on it that can be moved.
Check if there is a small switch on the side of the USB drive (might show a lock and unlock symbol). If there is not and the drive came with no driover software and a utility to unlock, it is possibly faulty
1.Look for a switch or button on the side of the micro SD card or adapter. It might have a lock/unlock symbol on it.
2.Move the switch to the "Unlocked" position to remove write protection. This position may also be labeled "R/W" for read/write. If you have no switch, continue to Step 3.
3.Download and install Sony EzRecover (see Resources for link) and attempt to use it to format the card (this will erase all content). If this doesn't work, try Step 4.
4.Delete and repartition the micro SD card using Windows XP. Select "Control Panel" > "Administrative Tools" > "Disk Management." Select the micro SD drive and click "Delete." Right-click on empty drive and select "New Partition."

Can you access other folders on the same device?
If so, copy the contents of those folders onto your computer,
and burn a CD-R or DVD-recordable disk.
If _none_ of the folders are accessible, then use 'www.google.com' to search for "recover digital storage memory cards".
There is software that reads, page-by-page, and can "rebuild"
the table-of-contents, after reviewing all the pages in the volume.
