Hi

sir the write protection is not in your memory card. it is in you USB that you are using if you change the USB for example if you are using a 2.1 USB then you use 2.2 USB it will 100 % works. your USB is not able to read you USB

OR

there is a another way too try to copy some of your memory data to your computer may be 20 MB. then took any picture from your computer and drop it to your memory card if it accept then you may prceed.

thanks

your friend from fixya!

Memory card problem

1. First Install FExplorer in your phone memory.
2. Got to drive C: , you will find a file called mmcstore
3. Send it to your pc directly and open it in notepad or rename the file.
4. At the end of the file you will find your password.

Memoy stick pro dou and my p900

SE P900 does not support memory stick pro duo. it' s only support MEMORY STICK DUO (w/o PRO). i have the same problem too. my p900 only live with 32MB MS DUO and there are no more MS DUO in my city (even SE's service center)
if you wanna use your MS DUO PRO, then you'll need to upgade to P990i or P1i. that's much better then P900i (newer OS, more ROM, new keypad, plus WiFi) :D

128mb Sony Memory Stick Duo

Hi there,
This is a common problem and its quite easy to resolve.

I had a very similar problem with a friends nokia 5200 memory stick , it refused access to the card , i got the message disk is write protected I couldnt even access it from a PC card reader or format it .
Somehow he had accidentally set a security code for the memory stick and the mobile then forgot he had done it , I tried the usual code of 1,2,3,4 and this didnt work.
When I tried the number 1 on its own , suddenly I could access the memory stick again and format it and didnt get the message (disk is write protected)...Reset your P800 security codes with the master reset function in the main settings menu. This will remove any codes that restrict access to the memory stick...

P800 memory

Hi,

I am sorry but the 1 GB stick is not compatible. The P800 can only use regular DUO cards (the biggest size being 128 MB). The 1GB is a PRO DUO.

Hi,

Yes it should work. Make sure that you are buying a DUO and not a DUO PRO (cause the DUO PRO won't work).
