I took a wack at it and it took me an hour to figure it out. Okay where is the way go to the messaging menu choose send message then go to Voice SMS okay then choose Recent List there you should see the recent contact you have texted to select the ones you want to delete and press options there you can delete the selected or delete all.

The green arrow means that sending is in progress. If recipient didn't receive it could be his/her phone is off, doesn't have propper sms settings, you might need need type number in international format and finally check if the number is correct.
Rate me if it helped. Thanks.

SOURCE: How to delete recent recipients?
you can't delete them if you text enough people they will go to the bottom of the list and be gone. its the way with most phones now days.

SOURCE: Deleting Text Recipient History
go to write a message , leave it blank and then press send, that brings up all recent recipients and then you should be able to delete them with the C button

SOURCE: delete recent recipients
Only way I found to delete the recent recipients of texts was to do a full reset using this code *2767*3855# before doing it back up everything you want to keep onto your memeory card and save all your contacts onto your simcard then remove the simcard and memory card. Restart the phone and type in the code *2767*3855# and the phone will restart and recent recipient will be gone.

try to switch off then after 30 seconds switch on...if still the same try to reset like this....
WARNING do a hard reset will ERASE all user data in the device memory, including contacts, calendar entries, etc. and any apps you have installed the C: drive, memory card mass storage and will remain so the unafected data will still be there, but you may have to reinstall some applications, even if they are installed for mass mem / mem card.
