While the unit is in standby mode, press and hold MODE button on the top panel for 2 sec.
12H will show and flash on the display indicating that the clock is set to 12 hour format

Press TUNE/SKIP button to change to 24H if you like

Press the MODE button to confirm. The hour digit "12" will begin to flash. Press TUNE/SKIP to set hour, when done press MODE to confirm, it will then go to the minutes, set the minutes then press MODE to confirm and finish.

To set the alarm do the same as time except press ALARM1 or ALARM2

Hope this helps.

Hi I'm trying to connect my iPod, to the JBL on time and doesn't make conection, I.e not playing the music being played on ipod. What am I doing wrong?

I correcting the spelling of 'trying'. To answer your question. I depends if it is a wired connection through the Dock or whether it is a Bluetooth connection.

For wired, you press the iPod or Auxillary button on the dock to select the signal from the iPhone.

For a Bluetooth connection.
Open Settings on the iPhone, on Bluetooth, close it an open it. You should see the JBL. If not, you have to press PAIR on the JBL.

Didn't you get instructions with it?

How to turn off the alarm on a sylvania imode sip478

If this is for turning the alarm completely then I also had the same problem. The directions in the manual are not clear but all you have to do is quickly press either Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 (depending on which one you are turning off) twice and the alarm will be deactivated.

IPod not working in my music dock

    Hi Natalie
Sounds like you're having logic board troubles. You need to take it to an ipod repair specialist to take a look at it. Sorry to bring the bad news. Chances are it's not a simple repair and will need a new logic board and they're not cheap:

If it's still less than a year old take it back to an apple store asap for a free replacement.

    All the best

    Ipod nano

The dock connectors on most of the speaker systems available are cheap and break easily. I have experienced the same problems. if the ipod doesn't sit just right then it doesn't connect. why they seem to charge but not send music signals i'm not sure. highly unlikely that it's your ipod. either buy a good speaker dock (klipsch, bose, sonic impact... check amazon or e-bay for good deals) or use the headphone jack to connect to the speaker dock you have, and use the wall charger to supply power/charge your ipod.
