Motorola v3 car charger

I have a motorola v3 that charges fine at home with the wall outlet charger. The problem is that it will not charge with the car charger. I have bought two car chargers and it will not work with either. Both chargers are compatible with the phone. But it still refuses to charge with the mobile car cigarette plug charger. How can I get it to charge in my car? plug is fine. charger lights up. but the phone wont charge.

I have to assume that you saw the mini-usb connector and believed that it was compatible with the Razr. Unfortunately, Motorola threw a propriatary wrench into the standard mini-usb. Posts 13 and 14 here- http://forums.cnet.com/5208-7817_102-0.html?forumID=74&threadID=139633&start=0&tag=forum-w;forums06 - discuss that issue. Evidently, some of the cheaper aftermarket charger manufacturers aren't even aware of this issue. Once you find a mobile charger that works with your Razr, it WILL also charge all your other mini-usb gear.

Check your cigarette lighter, it may have a blown fuse , check to make sure its not the problem.

Motorola razr v3 wont charge, the bettery is not that old the phone beeped to signal charge requred, plugged it in as usual but cant turn it back on.

If the charger is plugged in, the phone is hooked to it, and it still will not come on, I would think it's a charger or electrical outlet problem.  I think most phones will bypass the battery power if they are plugged into an outlet, so try another wall plug, and if that wasn't it, try a different charger.  If a different outlet and charger don't solve it, it may be time to take it to the store to be checked.

Battery won't charge. Charger works on other Motorola phones.

More than likely the battery is done for...

I myself have so many phones that have batteries that will no longer charge or much less retain a 5 minute charge due to them being on ice for the longest time.

Best bet is to replace the battery with a new/used one.

Home Charger Quit Working

Hi!

Its not due to charging it via usb. Your charger is not giving full amount of charge and thats why its charging with the usb but not with the charger. And, if that is not the case then somehow an internal ic inside your phone is blown and needs a repair.

Please ask for further clarifications.

Motorola razr

Close the flip screen. Unplug charger from the wall and the phone. First plug in phone jack into phone BUT make sure to push it in a bit sideways. Not too much it can break the pins but just with a little angle. When you hear good click than plug charger unit in the wall.

Phone wont turn on!

i have noticed that the mini plug for the charger and usb connection on RAZR V3 is sometimes sloppy. when the phone is charging it will definitely say battery charging on the external display and also flash the battery icon. i also noticed that the plug for the wall outlet is touchy.
make sure the plug is secure in the wall outlet
make sure the mini plug is secure in the phone
gently wiggle these connections if you have to till you get the battery charging message
if there are any connection problems there will be a unable to charge message instead.
