Green timer light keeps blinking

I read a question that had tried to be answered by you but with no follow ups, I have the problem with my Mitsubishi wd 62725 medallion DLP, the timer light just blinks rapidly and power wont turn on. I would call you if i lived in jacksonville but I am in Tampa. Do you have any suggestions as to what it is or what costs might be to get fixed? thanks for your time.

thanks

We had a power outage and when the power came on our 1080 HDTV timer light keeps flashing. I pushed the reset button and nothing happens. Any suggestions?

The television was working fine until I unplugged it. The timer was activated and never turned off. The timer light has been blinking constantly since then.

I have a wd52525 the status light keeps blinking

There are 3 different LEDs on the front of this televison. The TIMER will blink green. The STATUS will blink orange and the LAMP will flash red or orange depending on if there is a failure or if the lamp timer is showing over 5000 hours.

If I answer your question directly and the status is blinking a steady orange light, then you have left the side filter cover or the front lamp cover off or they are loose.

Also holding the menu and device buttons together until the timer light blinks will reveal a code that will help in diagnosing your problem. Goodluck.

IMitsubishi 62525 timer light blinks green and won't turn on

Try a system reset by unplugging the set and waiting for about 3 min then replugging it in. If this problems persists contact mitsubshi for technical support, I have replaced entire signal board chassis for this same problem, they will run you through a few common things to try using the front panel buttons.

Mitsubishi WD-62525 timer light keeps flashing after lamp replace

There is a tiny reset button to the left of the timer light. Press with a pin or something small, wait 60 seconds. Viola!

Mitsubishi WS73713 - Now working - Timer light flashing.

My Mitsubishi WS-73713 had the same blinking green timer light problem and would not turn on. I tried the reset button and unplugging power to no avail. I found that by simultaneously holding down the remote control "power" button and "volume" button for about 30 seconds the blinking light would go out and a solid green light would come on. Even though the solid green light came on the unit would still not power up. After doing this several times however the unit did finally power up in a normal mode and appears to be working again. It's worth trying before calling in for an expensive repair. PS - From here on out I'm sticking with SONY or Toshiba sets which have given be great service.

Mitsubishi HDTV 1080

The set is trying to tell you somthing by blinking this light. And the bad news is that it's sayiny the DM board is not booting up, there are several problems that might cuase this all from bad capacitors to a shorted diode or a compleatly replacing the DM board. but all these are not for the weakend tv tech this one has to go into the shop
