I have a tape stuck in my Sony hi 8 camcorder. It displayed a code on my tv upon rewinding the tape and now the door won't open.

- thanks, I did try that already. I did take it into a repair shop and for $44.00 they fixed it. Wonder what they did?I appreciate your help.
