Question about Dryers
Basement got 6'' of water, water went down quickly, but pilot on old gas dryer won't stay lit now.
Hello whatsherfac, Chances are the water caused the inlet gas valve to stick closed.. You have a few options.. one being to remove and replace it from one you get at a parts supplier.. If you provide the model number of your maytag.. I can identify which parts are most likely casuing your problem.. The electronics for your dryer may also cut off the gas supply.. I'll need more info on the model numbert before we can get to the root of your problem.. Please get back to me and I'll try to help you..
