Question about Televison & Video
I have a Sony KDF-46E2000 LCD Projection TV and it will turn off after about 10 minutes and flash red light 3 times. I am able to turn TV back on after a minute and so and then in 10 minutes it will do it again. Any ideas what the problem may be?
I have a similar problem with the Sony Grand WEGA KDF-46E2000, wherethe TV will power on and operate normally for 5 minutes, then go black. The green power led will flash quickly, then the picture will reappearfor a few minute and repeat the process.
The red LED never goes on, so I don;t think it's the buld..I opened andcleaned out the bulb area, but I am unsure as to the problem.

SOURCE: No picture or sound
3 times error shows that lamp is not installed properly or lamp cover is off / not fixed.
If you replaced TV lamp recently then check lamp cover and make sure to seat it properly.
Need further info, let me know.
