Arnabajit, Are you looking for a price of a new D80 or a kit (camera with a couple of lenses) because it's going to vary based on what you want.  If you are looking for used and that's what you need prices for try some classified or online bidding sites.   Reliable camera shops and stores are really your best bet if you establish a relationship with them and they understand your camera needs you will be better off in the long run, not that you can't get a good "deal" but you can get help in choosing the right camera for your needs. randy320sgi

Cannon 1000D wont work showing busy

If it is a Canon and not a Nikon then it is a main circuit failure. Send to Canon as it requires software to replace.

How do I down load from my camer to the computer. When I plug in camer to modum no box appears to down load.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.

You can download the current versions of all (free) Nikon software from

How to set canon d 40 camer

Step 1: Determine whether you're referring to a Canon 40D or a Nikon D40.
Step 2: Repost your query, being sure to include the information from Step 1. It would also help if repost your query in an appropriate area, not the Nikon D80 area.

Can you fit a sigma fit lens onto a nikon f mount camer. i have some great lenses on my old sd 10 but have gone over to nikon cameras

If the lenses were for the Sigma camera, then unfortunately, they will not fit onto a Nikon camera. Sigma makes lenses for various different mounts; the operative word is "different."

I have a Nikon coolpix L18 and can only take around 10 pics wiht it, with alkaline aa batteries, before I get the message "batteries exhausted". What can I do? Is the camer defective?

Well, alkaline batteries don't last long in a power-draining camera like the Coolpix. Try some rechargeables and keep spares fully charged.
