Twin machine wont spin

My whirlpool twin washing machine will not spin. when it get to the spin cycle it just stops and there is water in my machine right now. What could be the promblem?

    My washing cycle stops when it after the rinse cycle. I have tried all of the different wash cycles and cannot get the soapy water removed.

The lid swich is defective,,,on the right hand side push down on the little switch with a non metal probe ..listen for a click..if no click or you have to push to far down change lid switch

My LT700xvwo wirl pool stackabul stoped washing and spinning , it still loads water and drains the water , you can hear the motor runnings , but no washing , or spinning .

It's heavy duty thin twin model. The cycle stops at spin and water stays in the mashine.


When it gets to the SPIN cycle,wait 45 seconds. If it does not spin,open then close the lid.
If it spins then,replace the timer.
If it does not spin,replace the lid switch.

Washing machine wont rinse or spin


it fills up with water but it won't spin and then makes like a grinding noise someone told me it could be a clutch
