Ask your friend for the passwords. If it is asking you for them, then I guess it would have asked them as well. Once you are up and running you can change it for your own password.

Friends of mine are getting requests to be friends with me and I am not sending them.

I am not sure that you are in the correct forum; however, depending on what service this is coming from (assuming FB), change your password and use something complex and not easily guessed.

Good luck

PayPal is an online payment solution that allows its users to pay for online purchases as well as transfer money to others around the world in a variety of currencies.

Account security is paramount to the safe and efficient operation on the PayPal system.
The most basic security measure is password protection.

If you forget your PayPal password, you must either remember it or reset it before you'll be able to access your account.Password Characteristics

PayPal requires that all user passwords must meet certain criteria to ensure a higher level of security.

If you have difficulty accessing your account, it could be because you're entering a password for some other account that does not meet these requirements.

As of March 2011, your PayPal password must contain at least one uppercase letter, one number and one special character.

In addition, your password must be at least eight characters in length.
An example of an acceptable PayPal password is "P@ssword."

Making Guesses

If the password you are trying to use does not meet PayPal's requirements, one possible way to regain access to your account is to make an educated guess at your password with these requirements in mind.

Be careful when guessing, however more than three incorrect guesses will cause you to be locked out of your account. If this happens, you will have to call PayPal and answer a series of security questions to unlock your account.

Requesting a New Password

If you can't remember your password and don't feel like guessing, PayPal gives you the option of resetting your password through an automated system.

When you arrive at the PayPal website, click "Problems with login" and then enter the email address you used when you created the account.

Input the image verification string and click "Continue." PayPal will send an email to the address you provided with instructions on how to reset your password.

Successfully Resetting Your Password

Once you receive the email from PayPal acknowledging your password reset request, click the link in the message to navigate to a secure page on the PayPal website where you can reset your password.

When you set up your account initially, you chose several security questions to help confirm your identity; for example, "What was the name of your first pet?"

After you correctly answer these questions, you can reset your password.
Keep in mind that your new password must adhere to PayPal's requirements and cannot duplicate any password that you have previously used.

The knob has nothing to do with question i asked i need to size size of wire for power

1) Copy following link for live answer Dec 2012 to figure correct wire size
http://waterheatertimer.org/Color-codewire.html

2) Fixya posts 'recommended' answers based on computer guessing what you asked. Look for date on each answer.
Recommended answers can be totally unrelated, but sometimes they are spot on. These answers were posted by experts over previous years, and now fixya owns the work done by others and uses that work to answer questions that live expert does not answer.

3) This particular Question was posted under 'Chrome timer knob set,' and somehow ended up among timer questions. Each expert answers questions by expertise such as timer, water heater, electric wiring etc.
Often the questions do nor show a product or clearly state what answer is needed. People do not always know what they are asking for. That's why fixya is here: to help sort out possible answers.
So the expert sometimes guesses at answer, or the computer guesses which recommended answers to post.

4) Add a comment for live follow-up, Dec 2012

The password i signed up with is not working. help

I guess we all go through this password problems in social media networks. Try doing the following,

First thing that you can try is to re-enter your email or password, to make sure that you have not just mis-typed the information. If you try multiple times, and you get the same error all the time, you are entering the wrong password.

RESET YOUR PASSWORD
If your account password is not accepted, you can try to get it reset. You can do so in a number of ways on that page, for instance by entering your email or phone number, your Facebook username, or by entering your name and the name of a friend. If you fill out the information correctly, you will receive an email with password reset instructions.
It may happen that you can't fill out the information correctly anymore.

If that is the case, you need to open the "I Can't Identify My Account" page, where you need to fill out lots of information.
Facebook users do have another option. The - relatively new - get "help from friends" option can be used to recover your account access as well. You basically list trusted friends on the recovery page, which will receive a special code sent to their email addresses. You then need to collect those codes, for instance by phoning the friends, and entering the codes on the Facebook site.

My granddaughter told me that someone had put a video on HER facebook and she can't get it off. Is this correct or not? Is someone able to control my facebook site? It doesn't sound right to me.

Yes, it's quite possible. People can use brute-force password cracking software to "guess" your password then attempt to login using those credentials. If you can't remove the video from your facebook, contact the facebook support team and explain the situation to them. They will either demonstrate how to remove the video or will remove it for you.

Let us know how things turn out. Don't forget, passwords with numbers and capitalised characters (example: 8huY0a1) are far more difficult to "guess" than standard passwords such as your date of birth, a pet's name, or the name of family member(s). Let us know if you require any further assistance.
