Question about Compaq Presario R3000 Notebook
Every time I leave my laptop switched off for a longer time it has a problem to boot up. The first time this occurred was in December last year, after 4 weeks of being switched off it refused to boot up. When I finally managed, it was stuck in safe mode for a few days, and would only work normally after I reformatted the disk.
The same thing happened a few more times after leaving it off during the weekend, only on those occasions I managed to boot it after pressing the power on button repeatedly.
Finally, last week I had to reformat the disk again, after 2 weeks of inactivity.
Can anybody give me any ideas what could be the problem?
Seem to be a problem with your power switch doing malfunction or bad motherboard connector or your computer has been setting at hibernate mode. Check those settings going to >> Start >> Control Panel >> Power Options..........Set your droplist to "never: and also UNCHECK the hibernate mode.
Another tip, take out the battery, and see what happen (only connected with AC)
