The battery on your psp might be fried and is it at a certain point in a certain game or is does it just shut off randomly? if it shuts off randomly, then try plugging in your psp to the charger and then play a game for a while. see what happens

I always play psp and sometimes the game is just hang like that. after that my psp just shutdown automatic.

That's normal. Sometimes the games are buggy and hang the PSP. When the PSP OS detects that situation, it shuts down or restart the PSP.

You can try updating the firmware but the problem is with the games.

PSP turns on, screen freezes, shuts down.

Your battery may have worn out over use, so it may not hold a charge anymore.

Hi my psp has a green light but nothing showing on the screen

If your green light stays on for about 10 seconds, then shuts itself off, it sounds like your PSP is bricked. What this means is that the system software is corrupted, therefore the PSP is as good as a brick but fear not! This usually occurs if your PSP shuts off in the middle of a system update.

The following website can un-brick the system (reload the system software) onto the PSP for $29!
