We are having the same problem w/ a whirlpool front loader. it has been ongoing for 2 years. at this point we are trying to get the entire machine replaced. the error code stands for loose wire.

Tips for a great answer:
is a communication error and is displayed when there is no communication from
the User Interface to the Central Control Unit. First check the user interface
harness for continuity and then check the wire harness to the user interface
and CCU. If the drum rotates then replace the user interface, if the drum is not
moving then replace the central control unit (CCU). Hope
