Old Unknown Password for Voicemail

We have a phone that has a password for the voicemail that is unknown. How would we make the old password into a new one so that the voicemail can be used? The phone system is a samsung DCS. Thanks.

Unfortunately the passwords can not be seen and the only solution is to delete the mailbox and re-install it. Your Admin Assistant should be able to add and delete mailboxes. Sorry, Let me know if you need help with deleting and adding the mailbox. .....Mitelmike

    We have a Samsung iDCS 28D system. Unfortunately through several years, manuals have been lost and I can not find what I need online. I have a voicemail for which we do not have the passcode. And I can not even get into the main admin menu. I have been searching for 2 days online. I could make this dang phone cook me dinner but, I can not do what should be basic funtions! :)

From the Subscriber Services Menu, Press [#] [7] [1] ....you will then hear the old password XXXXX you will be able to change it...

Once you figure out what voicemail this is, you will need to go into Voicemail Admin Programming to re-initialize the password for an extension.

How did you program the voicemail so a caller can not leave a voicemail to a particular extension? Line ownership? SO a call goes directly to a milbox?

How can you reprogram the voice message????? Which one, for a particular user or the main Auto attendant greeting????

You have to know the admin login to change a mailbox password.

For that, you need to know which voicemail system this is.
When you log in to check your mail, the lady says, "welcome to Partner......"
