The proper model number format would be NE-9970C or NE-9870C.

You can order Panasonic parts from Tritronics, but if you don't find what you're looking for there, try here.

I would suggest searching by just the root model number without the C suffix.

Word of caution! Inside the case of a microwave are lethal voltages that persist long after the unit is unplugged. Stay clear of the transformer, diode and capacitor. When in doubt, discharge the capacitor with a large resistor first (10,000 ohms). Do NOT short the cap directly - it can damage the cap and scare the crud out of you with the noise.
