Resetting Fuser Life
This procedure restarts the counter that tracks Fuser life. Perform this procedure after
you install a new Maintenance Kit.
To reset the fuser:
1. From the Main Menu, select Information, then press the OK button.
2. Select Supplies Info, then press the OK button.
3. Select Reset Fuser Life, then press the OK button.
4. Select Reset Fuser Life NOW, then press the OK button to reset the fuser life

Yeah, sadly that also goes by time. I don't know of a way to reset it. Other than replace the maintenance kit. I would suggest googling a business called The Parts Drop. Call and talk to Britt and see if he has the kit or even just the chip to replace to reset the count. You would want to make sure the large white roller is not dried out if you are just going to replace the chip. It is loaded with silicon lubricant that cleans and prepares the drum. If it is dried out, it will not be any good and the paper will tack to the drum.
Call Xerox. If they can't reset it, They will sent you a new Mtc kit. Thay will want that count sheet. Plus, They will not warrenty any kits over 6 months.

I think the maintanance kit runs out based on time and usage, which ever comes first, roll back your printers clock a few months or more and see if that fix's the problem.
