Your Verizion broadband might have a Password/Key to get on to it, so you might want to see if you have your Internet blocked so that only you can you use it or if you have it so that everyone can use it.

Hownto put internet on the nintendo3ds

What You Need
  • A broadband Internet connection (cable, DSL, FIOS)
  • A wireless access point to a broadband Internet connection. Most people will use a wireless router or a Hotspot location.
Setup
  1. Turn on your Nintendo 3DS and access the System Settings by tapping the wrench icon.
  2. Tap "Internet Settings."
  3. Tap "Connection Settings."
  4. Tap "New Connection."
  5. Tap "Manual Setup."
  6. Tap "Search for Access Point."
  7. The Nintendo 3DS will search for any wireless networks within range. Once it is finished searching, it will display the names of all the wireless networks it finds.
  8. Look for your wireless network.

Unable to connect to an access point. always say check my connection setting. error code. in my palce we have a wifi conect, i want to use it by cannot acess. why what can i do. pls help.

If your Wifi in your residence is using anything other than WEP or an open connection, your DSi will not connect to it.

Make sure your WiFi router's security key is only a WEP encryption, not WEP+WPA or anything like that.

Hope this helps!

My dsi is not connecting to the internet

Hi shamar101,

To set up your wifi on your dsi do the following:

Here's How:
  1. Turn on the Nintendo DSi
  2. Click on the wrench icon to access "System Settings."
  3. Select "Internet" on the third page of System Settings.
  4. Select "Connection Settings" and tap the "None" bar in "Connection 1."
  5. You have the option of setting up a connection manually, or searching for available connections in the area. You may also access your Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector, if you have one (the product has been discontinued). The easiest thing to do is select "Search for an Access Point."
  6. Your Nintendo DSi will list the names of any wireless access points in range. A gold, unlocked icon next to the connection's name signifies an unlocked WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) connection that can be accessed immediately. A locked gold icon signifies an encrypted WEP connection that requires a WEP key (password).
  7. If you are accessing a locked/encrypted connection, enter your WEP key. You may also click "Change Security Settings" to enter a WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) key.
  8. If your WEP key is correct, your Nintendo DSi should connect. You can test your connection to verify.
  9. You're set! Now you can surf the Internet, purchase games and add-ons in the Nintendo DSi Shop, and play games that allow wireless access and competition (with WEP connections, only).
Tips:
  1. If you need help with your router settings, visit Nintendo's router FAQ
  2. Most Nintendo DS and DSi owners can get online by searching for an access point, but some might have to resort to manual setup. Visit Nintendo's manual setup guide if you have a unique situation and need help.
  3. The Nintendo DSi can go online with a WPA connection, but actually playing DSi games online requires a WEP connection.
What You Need:
  • A Nintendo DSi
  • A broadband internet connection, such as cable, DSL or FIOS
  • A wireless router
  • A Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector (optional)

Hope this helped!

I am trying to get my wii to hook up to my verizon wireless internet and am unable to get it to accept the ssid on the broadband box, any suggestions?

Make sure that the encryption type is wep, wpa or wpa2 personal. These are all the wii supports.

next follow this guide.

http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/getOnline/index.jsp

if that guide does not work for you then get up to part 5 and select MANUAL SETUP and follow the instructions there. following this link http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/getOnline/manual.jsp

depending on the verizon wireless internet you are using could matter. if this is DSL and you have the westell 7500 then you should be ok. if you are regular dsl adn you have YOUR OWN router added on then you need to make sure in the router wireless b/g is enabled and not N or b/g/n hybred.

if you are usign verizon wireless's new access point object you will be out of luck for it uses a vpn dial in protocol.

Wii will not let me hook up to enternet

There is no ethernet conection on the wii, use the built in wirelesss card, make sure your modem dont have some wifi security settings on because can be a nightmare to connect through this. The normal wep security is enough

A secruity key is needed to conect to internet

That would be the WiFi passcode for the secured WiFi connection. If you are trying to connect to your own wireless router, you should already have that passcode, or whomever setup your secure network would have it.

If it's not your network, give up, unless you know who it belongs to and they are willing to give your their passcode to use their WiFi connection.

Connecting my PS3 to the internet using a 3G Verizon Broadband

Unfortunately the PS3 will not be recieving internet through this device, the USB connectors are set up to only work with PC or MAC specifically for that reason that gamers cannot use their Xbox or Playstation, and that is because Verizon offers a Wireless router cell phone data device which costs almost a thousand dollars, definately not worth it.

Ps3

Use the WiFi connection if you have a WiFi Router with your broadband connection , its much easier, you only set it up once, and you can move your PS3 wherever you want..all you need to do is configure the settings from your PS3 and will need your WEP or WAP Key from your computer's WiFi router. Look for it under Settings > Control pannel > Wireless Network Setup Wizard
