Installing a Honeywell RTH111B. The lines coming in are not color-coded.

The lines coming in are not color-coded. I know what the 3 wires' funcations are. On the old thermo, I have "heat, cool, and line", yes...it's on a chiller/broiler system. I know that 'G' means fan, but what does W and Y mean?

W- Heat
Y- Cooling
G- Fan
R- Power/24v
B- Common/Ground

Line looks like your power, but beware that usually when it is labeled "line", its a 120v thermostat. I don't believe that this model thermostat is 120v. Just something to check. Hope this helps and good luck.

When the selector switch is set to off and the fan switch is set to fan on ,the A/C unit runs also. I have checked the wiring and it appears ok. Any ideas.

Its probably feeding backwards through the non-adjustable cooling anticipator to energize the cooling circuit because the subbase is internally wired to automatically energize the fan circuit on a call for cooling. It shouldn't happen though.

Hi, I have a baxi solo boiler WM60/4RS and a Landis & Gyr RWB252 timer but my Honeywell T6160 thermostat has nether been connected, can anybody shed light on the wiring connections please.

The color code for thermostat wiring is as follows.
The "R" terminal is power into the stat from the boiler control transformer. Normally 24 volts. The "Y" terminal is for cooling. Normally left blank for a boiler. The "W" terminal is for heat. This one used to start the heating cycle. The "G" terminal is for fan operation. Probably not used for a boiler. Check the boiler terminal board for these functions and write down the wire color on each one. Match the boiler colors to the right function on the stat. If you need more than this, let me know.

How to connect aftermarket radio into 2002 toyota camry JBL radio (the standart wiring doesn't work). Thanks

Your aftermarket radio should have color-coded wires which identifies power, ground, speakers, etc. most depaetment stores carry a radio harness adapter kit. This will connect to your radio's exact color coded wires, and will plug right in to your factory's wiring plug. And don't forget electrical tape.

I have a video cable running through the walls in my home for a home theater system. Honeywell RGB 5099 is the part. It has six wires of various colors, I am wonder which are the video colors and which...

From: http://www.genesiscable.com

the cables are: Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, White & Gray

Full specifications: http://www.genesiscable.com/CustomerSpecs/multimedia/5099.pdf

A nice picture: http://www.genesiscable.com/Clarity.pdf

indicates that it is up to you to make the connections _identically_ at both ends, i.e., if your TV has R/G/B connectors for video, connect 3 wires at the TV end, and the same 3 wires at the "other" end to the R/G/B outputs from your digital-cable or satellite-cable box.
