Question about Amana AER5515QA Electric Kitchen Range
The oven door does not shut completly, The locking hook is in the right position and the range will go into its cleaning cycle but so much heat is lost through the gap at the top of the door the handle has turned yellow. I checked the hinges at the bottom and they are very tight. Is that how the door is adjusted?? It looks like the door is about 1/2 inch to low

if it the type that the top raises then you have axcess to the cover to the lock if not then it will have to be unplugged and the back panel removed depending on the model a small motor will have a long rod attached with a screw undo the screw and pull the rod forward or push in this will unlock the door mech
