Question about Sport & Outdoor - Others
My treadmill quits running after about 15 minutes, when I am on it. If O am not on it, it continues to run with no problem.
So far we have replaced the lower board, the upper board, the deck and belt, the motor, the reset switch (twice) and the wiries between lower board and upper board.
what happens is that the power switch remains illuminated, but the reset switch trips, causing the display to go blank, and the belt to stop. Resetting the reset switch works for about 1 minute, then it quits again
If your treadmill has an optical speed sensor and hasn't been cleaned for a while, dust, dirt or lint may be obstructing the infared eye of the speed sensor. Try cleaning the treadmill.
Or maybe you need to replace the upper display, although, you may have a loose wiring harness that would cause the same problems. Open the motor case and verify the wiring harness is plugged into the lower board snugly. Also, remove the upper console and verify the harness is plugged into the back of the console snugly as well.
Definitely, inspect the components and try and isolate the source of the problem yourself first, before contacting a dealer for parts, as they can cost a fortune..

Normally all these problems are in relation with motor itself, I mean, internal bearings, short circuit. So if your treadmill stops is bacause the circuit board detetecs an over current fron motor.
I hope help you

SOURCE: Hi, I have a commercial
If there is incline fault, then the sensor must be calibrated. The error may happen even if you do not do anything. sensor goes out of calibration and you get e5.
The only reset you can do is by disconnecting power and removing console batteries if installed (that depends on the treadmill model).
I suggest contacting Techogim and following the procedure to calibrate the sensor. Contacts are listed at the right hand side of this page, click: Contact Us.

There are a few things that can cause the belt to stop running. First thing to do is check the lubrication and adjust the tension (get a manual from the manufactures website if you don't have one, it will cover this adjustment). Next, clean the speed sensor wheel with compressed air or a q-tip and apply Paraffin wax under the belt and adjust tension if needed.
