Question about Computers & Internet
I'm trying to reset Windows CE password on Neoware 620 or Copio One.
I was able to find a password recovery for a Lynix base client but not for CE client. Please help. In my case I have a Neoware Capio 611thin client. Again, a local OS level password was configured but no one knows what it is.
OK first off I don't know anything about this device, But I can tell you most OS level passwords I have dealt with are stored in the OS by way of a battery on the main board. If you open the unit and remove the battery and wait about 15 minutes, then reinstall the battery and close everything back up. Then turn it on and see what you get.
Has worked for me in the past On laptops.
You may have to try and leave the battery out overnight and then try it.
