Question about Toshiba Satellite A305-S6863 Laptop
(I'm not completely sure this is the exact model. Mine says it has an Intel Core2 Duo processor t5550, and 3gb memory.) At least half of the time when I try to adjust the volume on this computer, it doesn't do anything and it tells me it's not responding so I click "restart the program" and the taskbar and desktop icons disappear for a second, the reappear. But the volume icon in the taskbar doesn't come back so I still can't adjust the volume. I tried going to the control panel after that and adjusting it from there, but then it crashes again. If I restart the computer the volume icon comes back and I can sometimes adjust it then. This is really annoying; anyone know what's going on? I'll try to get more information if you need it. Thanks!
Sounds like your sound card drivers are corrupted and causing problems with your OS. You may need to either upgrade them or reinstall them.
What OS are u using?
