Go into control panel , which you should be able to access from Start Menu. Click on Hardware and Sound. Click on Sound..adjust system volume. Check to see if computer system is enable, if yes make sure it's not on mute. If not adjust volume then try to play a audio/cd. If still no sound refer to manufacturer , it's possible you might need to reload audio drivers to make sure your computer is up to date.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Sounds ok but not dialogue...

It sounds to me like you are using the receiver in surround sound mode and the click you hear is the center channel turning off. If you have another center channel speaker, try swapping that for the one you are currently using. If that doesn't fix the issue, then try replacing the speaker wire. If that still doesn't fix it, then the issue is probably inside the receiver and may be either an output transistor that is failing when hot or an electrolytic capacitor that allows too much DC offset when hot.

I have a Sherwood RX-4105 Receiver and I am getting no sound through my speakers and the connection with the wires is good so its not that. Any Idea on whats wrong?

when you turn your computer you should hear a sound of a relay initially and after about two seconds another sound, is the closure of the speaker relay models if you do not hear the sounds, the team has some short audio output.

I want help to fix my headset whith microthone.

You better use analog multitester so you can hear a static sound coming from the headseat when you going to test.If happen you can't hear a static sound the common problem is the wire is breaks or cuts, then find where the cuts is and join it so it's works again.

Hope it may helps you;

No sound

I just fixed mine. Plug in your head phone. wait couple of seconds. you will hear clicking noise which seems to reset the receiver. 10seconds later, sounds should come on and if not unplug the head phone and you should hear it then.

I have HP Multimedia Speakers. No sound comes from speakers. computer says Realtek digital output...Realtek high definition audio working.

If your speakers are powered speakers i.e. they plug into a wall outlet\has a red power LED etc...then unplug the input wire from your computer. Turn the volume all the way up on the speakers. This'll sound silly but it works. Lick the tip of your finger and tap the input wire tip with your wet finger. You will hear a "Pop" come from the speakers every time you touch the input wire to the speakers. This tells you the speakers are working and your computer is to blame. Good luck!!

No sound

1. check if the amp is in PROTECTION mode (might be a bad speaker or shorted output)
2. check the 'MUTE' switch
3. try to use the FM/AM mode to isolate an input source. If there is sound then check input source.
4. ...still no sound have a techinician check it.
