Could be a problem with the water pump. this pump could be separate motor or a mechanical pump beinmg driven by the motor or a belt. the burning smell could be coming from the belt which can not drive the drum and the pump itself that is why there is no water coming out of the drain hose.

Washer keeps filling with water. where is the fill hose located?

last time I looked a Kenmore dryer does not use water but their washer do! follow the hoses on the back of washer there are two, try turning off one of the valve at a time and see witch is the one that's keeps running till you turn it off this is the one with the bad solenoid valve unplug the power cord from the wall and remove that valve, go to appliance part store take the "model number" with you its kind of hidden open the lid look at the back top lip of washer under the lid you need to all most put your head in the tub to see it, but that's where it is. the valve has two wires on the in side and there is one hoses on the in side and one on the back out side. tools you may need!
Phillips head screwdriver
flat head screwdriver
1/4" nutdrive
5/16 nutdriver
voltmeter

Kenmore won't fill with water

Make sure your water valves are turned on. Check for blockages in the rubber hose and especially where the water enters the washer. Sometimes the chack valve of a washer can collase and restrict the flow of water entering the washer. It is usually located just beyond where the hose connects to the washer. Metal screens can clog and stop water flow. Check and replace as necessary.

The electronics of the washer may also not be advancing to the point where it allows water to enter, The main dial may be faulty. Check and verify all washer settings also

Kenmore washing machine not empyting all the way during the rinse cycle? the machine washes fine but not empyting all the water during the rinse cycle?

Does it go into high speed spin? If it does and there is still water than check to see if the filter or hoses are clogged. The hoses the run from your basket to the pump and the drain hose too. A washer is only given so much time to drain all the water. Most of the time the filter or coin trap hose is clogged. If everything is clear u may have a weak pump.

Top 10 front-load washer problems

1)Water fill problem: water took more than 10 minutes to fill to desired level sometimes indicated as a LF/IE or long fill/inlet error. Water valve screens clogged, hoses kinked, low water pressure, unpaid water bill. Check hose, clean screens.
2)Excessive vibration: noisy, roar, knocking noises. Bad damper, bearing or broken trunnion. no error code
3)Dispenser drawer open/detergent in wrong compartment: washer will not operate with drawer open or cleaning products in wrong compartment.
4)Washer won't drain: clogged pump/filter, slow or clogged drain usually indicated as a LD/DE, if a code is given (long drain/drain error) Clear pump of objects
5)Drum overfilled: usually caused by sediment in the water level pressure sensing tube going up to the main control.Find it and blow out the sediment, re-secure pump out water and retry.
6)Door open, Door not latched, clothes/objects keeping door from completely closing. Tighten door latch, add washers if nesessary to make good contact and close door tighter in case of leaks.Note some models send a signal to the motor and another to the control letting both know the door is secure before proceeding, corrosion gets into the lid lock and the door can be locked and the control is ready but the motor ain't getting the message.
7)Cold water does not enter washer: hoses connected backwards. Oops.
8)Over-sudsing: Wrong Detergent, too much detergent, detergent in wrong dispensing drawer, turbidity monitors pick up particles in the water and judge soil content then the washer allows for extra time to wash the clothes, if the wrong detergent is in there the machine thinks that is too much and declares a suds error. On some models a suds detect is determined by the motor over amping, most machines will try a few mini loads to correct the problem. Remove detergent, retry
9)Locked motor: error LE,loose connection,broken wire/hallsensor, motor overheated/failed.
10)Water heating error, hE, the thermister/heater is out.

I have a kenmore he4 washer dryer set. My washer want complete it's cycle because it gives a F 02 code. What does this mean

f02 is a drain error propably you have something stuck in your water pump u need a torx 20 and some hose clamps unplug the machine take the three torx screws off the toe panel put the hose clamps on the white plastic waterpumps hose that goes from the back of the pump to the bottom of the drum unscrew the pump to the left and pull out you can also use the toe panel to catch some of the water pull anthing out of it that u can and replace everything back try that first

Kenmore elite washer model 20952992 pouring water

We had the same problem. The bleach dispenser tray is located on the drum below the bleach storage pan. The dispenser tray has very small holes that were plugged by rust from the hose clamp that attached the dilution water supply hose to the bleach storage pan. I removed the top of the washing machine to discover the problem, but it may be solved by attaching a flexible tube or small hose to the end of a vacuum cleaner hose and cleaning out the dispenser tray. There is room between the dispenser tray and the storage pan and is located in the front right corner.

Washer is washing but is not letting water out

remove drain hose in back and make sure it is not plugged with hair. also there is a drain hole between the rubber seals in the front of the washer just inside the door that always seems to plug with hair. When you remove the drain hose make sure to look inside the hole where the hose connects to the washer.

hope that works!
