Hello
You might want to try the latest drivers from the main dlink homepage. I took me the liberty to find them for you.
ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Wireless/dwa556/Drivers/dwa556_drivers_140.zip
You press that link and download it. It's in a zip compressed format. So unless windows can unpack it for you after opening it you will need a decompressing tool like WinZip or WinRar
Once you've downloaded it you can follow this quick guide.
ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Wireless/dwa556/QIG/dwa556_QIG_140.zip
Good Luck! If you still need a hand just post here again.

This sound like and issue with the driver. Please uninstall the software and drivers that came with the usb device and restart the computer. Once you do that please reinstall the usb wireless card. This will reset the configuration and you should be set.

I have a windows 64x system on my computer and the driver cd from sitecom is only for 32x systems! so, where could i find a driver for a windows xp profesionell 64x version for a 54g wireless usb adapter...

it is ok if your have 32x for your driver 64x will be backwards compatible unless you are receiving an error after the installation then you really would need the 64x drivers for that USB adapter ^_^ but I believe your 32x should work on the 64x, on lt the 64x driver if installed on a 32x will not work because it will be higher than what the system requires but if you already have 64x in your computer and you only have a drive for 32x then It should work.

I have a dynex wireless network adapter and i cant run it on windows 7 because drivers are for windows xp and vista when are new drivers coming out?

They probably won't create them...that is unless hordes of people request them.

Have you already tried using the Vista drivers? Lots of times they'll work in Windows 7.

Let me know what happens and we'll try to figure something out if that doesn't work.

Can not find the driver

Unless you have the original CD that came with it, you are out of luck. Blitzz is out of business, and the drivers are not available anywhere I the web that I can find. Sorry.

I dont know how to connect my gateway 3350 to a ez connect wireless adapter

From what I can work out, the laptop runs Windows 98 and the ez-connect doesn't have a suitable driver. It's designed for WinXP / Windows2000 / Windows2003 so unless you have one of those operating systems you will have problems.
If you have xp then is the laptop hardware up to required levels.
If yes the uninstall the driver, insert the disc and only insert the smc when told to do so.

I want to put my linksys adapter into my pc and don't have a disk for wireless G,

Unless you have windows 98 or older, the computer should automatically recognize the adapter and load the correct drivers for it and you sshouldn't need a CD for it. If you have windows 98 or older, you need to change operating systems or the adapter probably won't work.

Did you get a disk with it to load the drivers? It will not work unless the drivers are loaded. Also, on USB items you must load the drivers first, then plug it in, otherwise it will not work and you'll have to reload, that includes USB Printers, cameras, keyboards, etc..

Pls rate this solution.

Di 524 through speedstream 5200: wireless connects but no browse

try re-installing the driver for your USB adapter or create a new wireless network name.

You could also try to download the latest driver for your USB adapter. uninstall the old driver before installing the latest driver for your USB adapter.

Can't find wireless device

whaqt may have happened is that the driver for the wireless adapter may not have installed. Go to my computer, right click, properties>hardware tab>device mangager and lokk in the list for any yellow exclamation marks, if so this may well be your wireless card, unless you can see it listed in the wireless adapters line. If you cannot see it, the exclamation mark may be it, this means theres no driver. If you have not got the driver, try here http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/ftp/ftp.html When you have installed the driver, restart the pc and your adapter should be found and the driver installed automatically
