Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
My xbox is hooked up to the router but it is saying that it isn't connected but when ever i hook my friends xbox up it works so i dont know what to do. does anybody have any suggestions?
You might have a problem with either your ethernet cord or the ports on your xbox. you can try calling microsoft customer support and see what they say or googling the problem. hope this helps!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

If you are going wired, you need a an ethernet cable running from the back of your router to the back of your xbox.
If you want to go wireless, you need to buy a wireless router and a wireless networking adapter.
Plug all of it up and then scan for networks on your xbox dashboard, if you were successful in hooking it up, you should find your router and be able to connect....
I have a tip on my profile that you might find useful.
