Question about HP Color LaserJet 2600n Printer
PRINTING IS SMEARY, SOME WORDS ARE IN BOLD AND THERE IS SHADOWING IN SPACES THAT SHOULD BE CLEAR. mACHINE ALSO MAKES A FUNNY NOISE WHEN PAPER IS BEING PRINTED. MACHINE WAS WORKING OK TILL AN ENVELOPE GOT CAUGHT AND TORN IN PRINTER HAS NOT PRINTED CORRECTLY SINCE.
If there is a clicking noise as the printer is printing then most likely the fuser film has torn. The fuser film is part of the fuser unit. This item is best replaced by a technician.
Have you found pieces of film like material around the printer paper exit? It is most likely a dark grey color.
