No Monitor display with P4VMA-M Motherboard cpu...

I have a desktop with a Biostar P4VMA-M motherboard, was working fine until recently. I turned it on, it had a beeping sound for a few seconds and the monitor just says "check your pc and signal cable, monitor is working."
Everything else seems to be working normal. I believe the video display is integrated. What would you recommend to fix this problem? Thanks in advance and God Bless.

Thanks for your very helpful advice. Since it is an intergrated unichrome 2D/3D card and the vga output is apparently not working, would you recommend installing just a PCI slot with vga out? It's a P4 with HT, so honestly I really do not know how much mb's is recommended. I thank you for helping me in this matter. God Bless.

Good day,

have you tried unplugging and replugging the cable connecting from the monitor to the video card? if after trying that it your video card is still not functioning, try installing a separate video card in its appropriate slot and try if this will work. better yet, have it checked by a competent technician in your area to verify other possible causes of this problem.

i hope this will help

just check with your local computer shop for availability of such video cards.

as for the memory capacity of your video card, i suggest that you get the highest memory that you can afford. however, it depends on how you will use your computer. if you will use it for photo editing, graphics layouting, high resolution gaming, you should opt for a higher memory video card.

    i hope this helps

My cpu had been working fine for 5 months after installation. Just now, when I powered up the cpu, there was no display. The display was back after twice forced shutdown. I am using on board vga and I had...

Is it black from the get-go? This could be a loose video cable, power cable on the monitor or a video card that's overheating due to a faulty fan... it could also mean the video card is gone. If it only looses display after it hits windows it could just need a driver update.

I cant find power sw,reset sw,power led and h.d.d. led

From the manufacturer's web-site:

http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-us/search/search.php?search=P4VMA-M

select either the 'P4VMA-M 7.x' or the 'P4VMA-M 2.3' motherboard, and click on 'MANUAL'. Click to download and "save" the '.EXE' file to some folder on your computre. Run that '.EXE' file to create a PDF file in the same folder. Open the PDF file, and scroll-down to page 10, which has a large annotated diagram of the front-panel connectors.
