Question about Canon PIXMA iP1800 InkJet Photo Printer
I have a canon pixma ip1880 series.. my problem is Ink has run out. , but its already replace by a new ink its already my second time refill a black ink and first time for the colored ink., the first ink has run out of black but in the end the two colored is now ink has run out..why is it so??? how can i resolve this problem???plz help me i really need to know now...plzzzz
First of all to make your ink last longer you need to be using the Canon PG-40 and CL-41 instead of the Canon PG-30 and CL-31. The 40's are the higher capacity versions of the 30's. If you mean to ask why your color cartridge is going empty when you don't print much color, it is because when you print in black and white your printer mixes in some color with the black. There is no way to stop your printer from mixing color ink with the black.
