Blank Screen When I start my car the pioneer logo shows but then turns into a blank screen music will play but no picture. If I restart it same problem but i can wait about 10 minuets push map and it will go to the map screen and it will work from there but I have to do this everytime i get in my car?

Definately the DC. Try ensuring that the connections are properly made first, and if that fails, try wiping the laser lens (very carefully) and the disc with a smooth cloth.

Try to download new Firmware.

Go to Pioneerelectronics.com...there is a firmware upgrade which solves this issue. You can eith call them toll free and they will send you a free disc, or you can download onto CD-R and update yourself. Take care.

It seems your hard drive has corupted.
This sucks, all you have to do is push ALT F10 and then go through the reseting menu, you will loose everything on there though except the original data.

My Sansa has a similar problem. Sometimes when the Sansa turns on (after the Sandisk logo) the screen will either turn black, blue, or black and white stripes. The player still works, but it is hard to navigate without the screen, obviously. What I end up doing is letting the backlight turn off and then pressing any button. Sometimes when the screen comes back, the display is allright again. But sometimes it takes more than a few tries. Turning it off and on again seems to work a little better, but it is more time consuming.
