There are no active mixer drivers available information msg comes when i clicked volume cntroller

Go to Start - Programs - Accessories - Multimedia or Entertainment and then select Volume Control. Note: If you have more than one playback device installed in your computer, make sure that the proper device has been selected before modifying the mixer control settings. To do so, select Properties from the Options menu, and make sure that the proper device has been selected.
Make sure that the Mute All check box below the Volume Control slider and the Mute check box below the Wave slider are not checked, and that the Balance sliders for Volume Control and Wave are in the center of the scale.
Move the Volume Control and Wave sliders at least halfway to the top of the scale. If the Play Control and Wave sliders do not appear, select Properties from the Options menu, and then make sure the Play Control and Wave check boxes are checked. You may need to adjust the current Play Control or Wave slider settings to play wave files at the volume level you want.
If you hear popping or crackling noise from USB speakers, turn off the SpeedStep (if you have a Intel Mobile Pentium III processor) functionality during the sound session. To do so, set the power scheme to an non-adaptive mode: Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Performance and Maintenance, and click Power Options. On the Power Schemes tab, click Always On in the Power schemes box, and then click OK.

Ok i plugged it in and i can hear them but they cant hear me

I think you are having an issue with your microphone from what I read on your question. This is usually rectified by going into your sound mixer. Follow the following steps:
1. Double click the speaker icon next to the time on your taskbar.
2. The mixer panel opens, click OPTIONS then Properties.
3. On the properties dialog box click the RECORDING button and make sure that you have a tick in the box beside microphone.
4. Click Ok.
5. The mixer panel reverts to the recording mixer. Look for the microphone Slider and make sure that the SELECT checkbox below it is selected and adjust volume and test. If its still low and you have it turned up all the way you can activate a boost by clicking OPTIONS > ADVANCED. An advanced button will apear below your Microphone volume control slider, click it and activate the 20db boost and re adjust your microphone volume.

Lastly ensure that you have the microphone plugged into the right hole, it’s usually colour coded a pinky/redish colour.

This is the active mixer error message... --------------------------- Volume Control --------------------------- There are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to Control Panel,...

NO active mixer is one of the volume control, your sound card or your audio port is not installed. try to install again your motherboard installer and locate for the audio of it of for the soundcard. Then after that restart and when the sounds come then you successfully installed it

Just need to know where to go to turn on my microphone

ON a computer?

In windows XP bring up the volume control. Usually a little speaker on the toolbar or go to control panel and click on the sounds icon.

Click on the audio tab and select recording device. From there you should have one or two options of input sources. Pick the one your mic is plugged into and set the volume control.

That should do it!

Audio problem

You either have the wrong driver installed or a conflicting driver is present. Go to control panel->system->device manager-> look for the yellow exclamation point, double click on it and follow those instructions. If that does not work. Right click on the device, REMOVE, then reboot and let it refind it.

My volume control is not working.

go to device manager in the control panel under system folder.
Open the device manager and see if you have any warning messages; they look like little yellow triangle with !  in it. Open if any on the sound drivers; you then need to open that then a window will open; click on driver update. If you already have the drivers point it to where you have them on the drive and see what happens.
