Check the Mosfets on the P0981 pcb this is the pcb that has the inputs and such.. not the power Supply board. Fets are mounted to the Heatsink under this pcb, but you can get to the pins as they come up thru the pcb . T11, T7, T4, T1 These have 3 terminals Check for shorts or reading the differ from one to the next.. These are Fets so From G to D and G to S shoudl be open. D to S will read some value as there is a Diode across it.. Also If these are bad the Gate Driver IC IC 11 or IC 3 might be the cause. Mine had two shorted FETS and the IC that drove them was bad. IC is IRS20955 Found some tech reports that show this ic was updated to IRS20957 due to issues.. So I updated both mine and replaced all 4 FETS. Good luck .

Tip

SAMSUNG PLASMA POWER SUPPLY CLICKING.

If you have a Samsung Plasma PS50A550 which will keep clicking and not come on, the fault is in the power supply .Check Power supply if its a BN44_00222a. This PCB cost almost $ 300.00 can be fixed for around $ 30.
The fault is in the 5.3v supply to the T.Con PCB. On the Power supply check voltages.VS will not come on unless the T.Con pcb is active.
Check on printed circuit side of PCB on secondary side there are 3 IC close to one another. 2 IC'S are 8 pin and one is 16 pin. Replace both 8 pin reg IC (25h3ll ) these are available from RS components. Part number is STS25NH3LL. The 16 Pin IC is a L6725A but this is not faulty.
lets keep these good TV working for another 4 years.

Hello
The audio output IC of your TV is faulty. It should be replaced with same type and number. If there is some loose sodering on the solder terminals of this IC, this type of fault can occur too. So check this first, before replacing the IC. Ok

The green go button is very hard to push to make the copies start.

Odds are that the switches connections on the PCB are broken and the switch is not closing to make the copier work. There are two things that can be done, first is to replace the control pannel or if you are good with taking things apart and not afraid of sodering. You can take the control pannel PCB off and repair the the broken joints on the control pannel PCB.... Good Luck

Acer monitor colour turn green

That is color problem may be the vga cable is intermittent or loose the solder of some components around chroma or color ic has defective. But if you are electronics repairman resolder first the chroma w/ sodering iron before you suspect the color ic.

maybe yes ,maybe not !!! my advice is don't use soldering iron more than 25 watts of heat it may cause your PCB board or other component burned.A solution to your problem just try to look cold soldering if available in your area or any major electronics shop. this will solve your problem
