Write protection error in pen drive

Hi, It seems to be a virus problem. Install a latest antivirus and scan the pen drive through it.

Virus would not allow you to erase its contents.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.

When I connect my Pen drive to my laptop it asks for driver.

you turn the usb ports on thru the bios setup menu that you can enter as you boot up... actually tho you shouldn't have to do anything.... just plug in the usb device and your operating system should detect it for you.
