Navi prb i have prb with my acura radio. Here what happend i put a navi from 2005 acura tl in 2004 tl and changed all the wireng. The navi works but CD player dont what can tha cuse a prb?

on the TL - 5 digit code for the radio; 4 for navi; numbers are typically on a sticker on the side of the glovebox (nearest radio) or rear truck arm (great security acura?). Need to unplug the antenna and then put in the code, reconnect the antenna and your back in business. search the net to learn how to access the back of the radio. typically needed after power is lost to the vehicle, new battery installed, etc.

When it cuts out does the radio's display still work? Can you change channels but just not HEAR anything? Did you buy it from a private party or a dealer? Acura dealers may cover this under a warranty. Otherwise, time to join an Acura forum and look for answers there.

you need to just replace the unit, Acura is having a problem with someof these radios units goign bad, sorry to hear that

This is the security code for theft radio system; add it; the radio code generaly is in back side of the radio, or in the owners manual (last page). If you dont have anyone, need to call the Acura dealer with the VIN car number (sometimes need to pay for this service).

check the radio fuse, also if it is aftermkt radio check for inline added fuse...goodluck

ya no prb u can do that for the front wheels...but careful that u better check the bearings of rear wheels also...so that it will be safe drive for u!!!!

I have MANY of these radios BRAND NEW with codes for sale if anyone has to replace a bad unit. $270

You need to call the dealer, I had same problem. Now Honda
replaced my battery and I need the CODE for my NAVi!

Dealer where I bought doesn't have the code, nor does customer service.
Also no one has the SN....they say I have to pay to remove the Navi - Radio from the dash to fine the SN!......needless to say I'm NOT a happy camper!!!!..... All I need is the SN from the unit and then Acura will supply the Navi code.

Any suggestions anyone????

True.  It is in the trunk under the plastic carpet.  You need to remove the bolts from the navi dvd and flip it over.  Write down the serial number and go back to the dealer.  Show registration of car and have car with you.  On 2005 and up cars with navi the tech can go to a secret tech screen and get the serial number.
