Question about Kodak EASYSHARE 5500 All-In-One InkJet Printer
This issue sounds more like a software concern. If you are working with EasyShare, please know that the images are not being stored in EasyShare itself. Rather, the images stay in their current location on your hard drive. If you remove them then EasyShare will not know what happened to them and will place a strike across that image.
There are a lot of programs that use this kind of reference. EasyShare creates a log file that is stored on your system so it can be called up when needed. You can store images on a CD or DVD then use them when needed. But, to have them in the main collection, the images need to be on your hard drive.
