Question about Computers & Internet

I'm trying to use a D-Link wirless USB adapter to connect to a linksys wireless password protected network. For whatever reason it's not working. Before I password protected my network it was fine... now I cannot get them to talk!

Access the linksys router page from your computer and then enter the password for the network again and save it on the computer.

Thanks

Netgear wirless - installed on toshiba satellite a45 - S151 will not connect to internet router = comcast - linksys also causes conflict with connection of other wireless computer

Presumably, you have configured your wireless router:
* SSID (your "network name")
* encryption-level ('WPA' or higher security)
* password for your network

With that information, any wireless device (iPod Touch, iPhone, NetGear wireless adapter) should be able to connect to your wireless router.

> conflict with connection

Exactly what error-message are you getting?

Were would i find the wep key or the wpa for the WUSB54GSC Wireless -G USB Network Adapter/

The Wep Key is located in the wireless router settings and will not be found on the network adapter. The network adapter needs the wep or wpa key to connect to the wireless router. You will need to use a computer hooked up directly to the router and enter the router settings menu to find or change the wep or wpa key. Most routers use 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 to enter the router menu. When you input the IP address above a screen should come up asking for a username and password. Enter those and that will allow you to get into the router menu. If you do not know the username and password you can reset the router with the reset button and that will restore the default password which is usually no username and password is admin.
