How to use the DVD-Super Multi Drive of Acer computer AX143G-UW30P

Just bought an Acer Aspire AX1430G-UW30P with no manual and need to kno how to use the DVD-Super Multi Drive

This Super-Multi Drive will write to dual layer DVDs (DVD+R DL or DVD-R DL) at a 4x speed. The full specs of the Acer 5742 are available here: http://support.acer.com/acerpanam/notebook/2010/Acer/Aspire/Aspire5742/Aspire5742sp2.shtml .

You should be able to place a dual layer dvd in the drive and have it recognized. Windows may ask you if you want to format the disc.

since you wer able to post this problem online , im sure you can have a few minutes to do this too. in just a few minutes you will be able to download these small files. Typically a computer case has small brass screws holding the components in. Every case is different, but just start taking out any screws you see and dismantle it piece by piece, whatever becomes available to remove. Be careful of the ribbon cables, they are damaged easily. Be sure to ground yourself on something or wear an ant-static band.

Open Sart Menu, Computer, Is there a D (Recovery) drive? Most likely, if you have a D drive that would be the Recovery Partition. I can't say for sure.
